Welcome to Blackwater Beekeepers Association public education page.

Information is provided to obtain a Beekeeper to speak at your organization.

We are delighted that you are interested in learning about the value and importance of honeybees.
Our beekeepers are committed to raising public awareness about the importance of safeguarding one of nature's most essential resources.

Our presentations are tailored to:
  • Daycares
  • Public and Private Schools
  • Religious Groups
  • Garden Clubs
  • Community Service Clubs
There are some requirements that need to be in place first:
  • Kindly provide a minimum of four weeks' notice prior to the desired date. This timeframe will enable us to secure a volunteer member to conduct the presentation.
  • Please confirm by email or text once the time, location, and date of your appointment have been verified.
  • Please ensure to contact your presenter one week prior to confirm that the event is still scheduled to take place.

Attendance for our beekeepers at these presentations is complimentary. However, we suggest considering a donation to support Blackwater Beekeepers Association in advancing its educational outreach about the importance and need for honeybees. We are committed to provide incentive and educational programs that involve children, adults, and the community.
